Wellington Girls' College has an opening for a Technology Design technician to start Term 1, January 2026.
This is a 30 hours per week permanent role and can be worked over 4 or 5 days per week.
The position is term time only - term breaks are not worked.
We are looking for a design graduate or someone with relevant experience to join our team to provide technical & administrative support to Technology staff and students.
Experience in garment manufacturing is required together with a broad understanding of complimentary design digital technology software that includes Adobe creative suite and digital pattern skills.
Candidates should feel comfortable assisting teachers in the preparation and delivering specialist technical workshops to groups of students with a wide range of ability and skill during taught lessons.
The remuneration is hourly rate range $30.22 - $33.23 on the Teacher Aide work matrix, Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement (SSSCA).
